These are some of the projects I’ve worked on, showcasing my expertise in data analysis and statistical methods.
Client: MPH Student
Objective: To examine predictors of knowledge, attitudes, and practices (KAP) related to biomedical waste management among clinical-year students at Kuwait University.
Requested Analysis & Services: Descriptive statistics summarizing baseline characteristics, independent samples t-test and chi-squared test to assess bivariate associations with KAP three outcomes, three logistic regression models to predict KAP three outcomes with diagnostics, and thesis manuscript enhancement.
Deliverables: Cleaned and scored dataset, baseline characteristics table, three bivariate analysis tables, three logistic regression tables, methodology and results documentation for report inclusion, and revised thesis sections.
Client: MPH Student
Objective: To determine the sociodemographic, clinical, and treatment-related predictors of annual direct management costs for patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) managed at primary healthcare centers in Kuwait, and to provide recommendations for cost management optimization within the Ministry of Health system.
Requested Analysis: Descriptive statistics summarizing baseline characteristics, nonparametric Mann–Whitney and Kruskal–Wallis tests to assess bivariate associations with annual cost, generalized linear model (GLM) using a Gamma distribution with log link to model predictors of total annual cost, and calculation of average marginal effects for clearer interpretation of cost changes per predictor.
Deliverables: Cleaned and organized dataset, baseline characteristics table, bivariate analysis table using medians and interquartile ranges, GLM results table reporting average marginal effects, a heat map visualizing average annual cost per governorate, and methodology and results documentation for report inclusion.
Client: MPH Student
Objective: To assess trends and patterns of needlestick and sharp object injuries (NSOIs) reported among healthcare workers in Kuwaiti healthcare facilities between 2014 and 2024, using national surveillance data collected by the Ministry of Health’s Infection Control Directorate.
Requested Analysis: Logistic regression after recategorizing outcomes into binary form, chi-square tests to examine associations between key predictors and each binary outcome, descriptive statistics and frequency tables, histogram visualization to show yearly trends in NSOI cases (2014–2024).
Deliverables: Cleaned and organized dataset, two baseline characteristics tables, two logistic regression results tables, histogram visualizing trends over time, methodology-ready documentation for thesis inclusion.
Client: Group of professors from multiple universities in the GCC.
Objective: To explore the knowledge, perception, attitude, and self-efficacy of psychiatrists regarding the role of occupational therapy in mental health practice using questionnaire data.
Requested Analysis: Data cleaning and processing, summary statistics, univariate analysis, and a visualization chart (bar chart).
Deliverables: Final report with all the analysis results and interpretation ready for publication. The study was published in a high impact journal, the International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health.
Client: Group of undergraduate radiology students.
Objective: To investigate the knowledge and perception toward the predictors of lung cancer among college students using questionnaire data.
Requested Analysis: Chi-square test for categorical predictors, logistic regression to identify key predictors, a visualization chart (boxplot).
Deliverables: Final report with cleaned dataset, descriptive statistics, a description of the analysis plan was ready to be added to the methods section, and visualizations. The results section with interpretation was provided as an add-on with extra fees.
